Did you know research shows that parents who take prenatal breastfeeding classes or have consultations with a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) prenatally have significantly higher breastfeeding rates?

From prenatal group breastfeeding classes to 1-on-1 consultations, we can help arm you with the knowledge and support to meet your goals.
When your baby makes their arrival and you are navigating the initial days and weeks of breastfeeding or pumping, we can support a multitude of common concerns that you or baby may be experiencing.
After the first few months, breastfeeding begins to evolve as your baby grows. Around the 4 month mark, you may be facing a new set of questions and need additional support breastfeeding your older nursling.
We offer student IBCLCs clinical mentorship and business consulting to Private Practice owners.

1. Through our partnership insurance biller, The Lactation Network , we can bill to some insurance carriers. Such as:
  BCBS PPO, Anthem PPO, Multiplan PPO, UHC, UMR, All Savers, Oxford Health Plan, Surest, PNOA, VA CCN-Optum East (referral required). Check insurance coverage: Here

Yes! We can accept FSA/HSA cards for services and will provide appropriate coded receipts thereafter.
We are able to travel all throughout Northern Virginia to conduct home visits. Home visits will often incur associated travel fees per our practice policies. Depending on travel distance and time, we will let you know any travel fee specifics ahead of your visit. Any necessary travel fees are due before time of visit and will be collected via invoice along with your intake forms.

(Parking fees are occasionally necessary in some areas. We would communicate that during your visit and require reimbursement for these, as well)
